Schools all set for Donegal ETB Junior Debating event

THE Donegal ETB Junior Debating Forum will take place on Tuesday in the Radisson Hotel, Letterkenny.

It will bring together second year junior cycle students from ETB schools across the county to develop their communication, critical thinking, and public speaking skills.

Building on the great success of last year’s event, this year’s forum will once again centre around Donegal ETB’s five core values: excellence, equality, care, community, and respect. Students will engage in debates that explore and reflect these values in action, exploring what they represent in school life and society.

The forum continues to be a valuable opportunity to promote student voice, confidence, and leadership, while reinforcing the shared ethos that underpins all Donegal ETB schools.

Coláiste na Carraige is the current holder of the Junior Debating Cup.
