SCANLON – The death has taken place at Lettterkenny University Hospital of Cecil Scanlon, Killross, Stranorlar. Pre-deceased by his late wife Ruby. Beloved father of sons Gordon, Geoffery, Karl and Shane; daughter Michelle; daughters-in-law Erin, Olive, MaryJo and Rose; cherished grandfather of Anuiska, Enya, Dwayne, Marrion, Molly and Lucy; great grandchildren Leo, Joey, Ava, Sophie, Katie and Holly.
Cecil will be sadly missed by his wider family circle, neighbours and friends.
His remains will repose at his home from this evening Sunday, 1st January. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday, 3rd January at 11.15 am for 12 noon funeral service in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Raphoe, followed by burial in the family plot in the adjoining graveyard.
House strictly private please at the request of the family, and on the morning of the funeral.
