Gardaí attached to the Donegal Divisional Drugs Unit seized over €125,000 in combined drugs on Thursday, April 18, following searches at two properties in Milford as part of Operation Tara. Two men were arrested.

Elsewhere, a major haul of cannabis, worth over €600,000, was located when gardai raided an industrial premises in Donegal Town in February.

The overall figure also comprises a number of smaller amounts of various drugs including cocaine, heroin and MDMA following garda operations at several locations across the county.

A dedicated drugs unit was re-established in Donegal garda Division in December.
