Sadness in West Donegal following the sudden passing of Chloe Boyle in New York 

THERE is widespread sadness in West Donegal following the tragic news of the sudden death of Chloe Boyle in New York.

Chloe Boyle of Merrick, New York, passed away suddenly yesterday, July 16.

The sudden and tragic news of Chloe’s passing has brought immense sorrow to her parents, Tommy and Erina, her brother Liam, and the extended Boyle and Conlon families, including her grandfather Hughie Boyle (John) from Annagry who lives in New York.

She is being remembered as a “vibrant” and “loving” individual whose life was marked by joy and kindness.

Chloe, who was just a few weeks away from her 18th birthday, had recently attended a Taylor Swift concert in Dublin with her mother, and was eagerly preparing to start college.

Chloe was said to have a unique ability to light up any room she entered and was deeply devoted to her loved ones, always prioritising their happiness and well-being.

Meanwhile, many have paid tribute to the 17-year-old.

Chloe’s cousin, Charlie Boyle said: “The sad and tragic news of the sudden death of the beautiful and bubbly Chloe Boyle our cousin in New York arrived yesterday.

“We can only for now imagine the heartache and pain of her parents Tommy and Erina, Liam her brother and the wide Boyle and Conlon families including her grandfather Hughie (John Donaill Eoin) originally from Bunaman and Meenderrynasloe.

“Parish and community prayers for the family in New York at this time.”

Mullachdubh Community Centre also paid condolences to the family.

“Condolences from the community to the Boyle family New York and the extended Boyle families at home the on the death of Chloe.

“May Chloe rest in peace with the Angels.”

Chloe’s funeral arrangements will be released by her family in due course.
