THERE is a dark cloud over the parish of Ardara following the sudden passing of a young local woman in New York.
Jenna Shovlin, of The Rock, Narin passed away suddenly in Manhattan, New York on Saturday, March 8.
Ms Shovlin’s local GAA club Clg Ard An Ratha led tributes.
“Jenna was a beautiful girl who had made a new life for herself in New York, and was a person who made a lasting impression on whoever she met, with a smile that lit up every room she went into,” a spokesperson said.
“The news of her passing has left a black cloud over our Parish once more.”
Ms Shovlin will be sadly missed by her heartbroken parents, Frankie and Kathleen, brothers Christopher (Tanya), Keith (Hannah), nieces Lilly and Jodie, Aunts, Uncles, cousins, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced.
