There is widespread sadness at the passing of former Finn Harps chairman Derek Wilkinson.
Wilkinson was heavily involved with the club for multiple decades and was the Finn Harps delegate to the FAI as well and served as chairman.
A native of Donegal, Wilkinson worked as a car salesman in Bray before retiring in 2020.

A statement from the club read: “Everyone at Finn Harps FC is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Derek Wilkinson. A former chair of the club, with decades of stalwart service in various roles, Derek was a true club legend. His last Harps game was just a few weeks ago as we hosted Bray Wanderers.
