Ryan Griffin has been selected as part of the Ireland team that will compete at the R&A Home Internationals taking place in Scotland next week.
The Ballybofey & Stranorlar golfer has been chosen as part of a nine man team that will compete at the Murcar Links course in Aberdeenshire from August 7-9.
The Convoy man was in flying form last week as he topped the stroke play at last week’s Pierse Motors Volkswagen South of Ireland Amateur Open Championship by four strokes following two days of play.
The competition then turned to match play and after picking up a back injury following his last 32 match win, he was forced to pull out of the tournament.

Colm Campbell (Warrenpoint), Paul Coughlan (Castleknock), Hugh Foley (Royal Dublin), Ryan Griffin (Ballybofey & Stranorlar), Thomas Higgins (Roscommon), Josh Hill (Galgorm Castle), Sean Keeling (Roganstown), Liam Nolan (Galway), Luke O’Neill (Connemara).
Captain – Niall MacSweeney (Athenry)
