Rough Magic's Plaza Suite for An Grianán

BY SEÁN P. FEENY
The Belfast native said the play, produced by the award-winning Rough Magic Theatre company, is one of the stories that makes you forget your troubles and sends you home with a smile.

Plaza Suite showcases Simon at his best – witty, sophisticated and deliciously funny. It recounts the misadventures of three very different couples facing crucial moments in their lives – all set in the same room in New York’s world-famous Plaza Hotel.

Ali, who trained at the Gaiety School of Acting, said this is her first time performing at the Letterkenny theatre.

“I’ve worked with Rough Magic off an on over the past 20 years. I wasn’t part of their last production at An Grianán, but I heard a lot of great things.”

“Lynne Parker (artistic director and co-founder of Rough Magic) didn’t direct us this time. The company has given three young directors, they’ve mentored, the chance to work on Plaza Suite.”
