THE 29th season of TG4’s Ros na Rún comes to a gripping finale tonight.
Last week’s episode left viewers relieved when Mo talked her estranged partner Géaróid (Derry native, Pádriag Ó Gráda) down from killing her husband Colm.
Now Géaróid, with all of the information of Frances’ murder, holds the power. This leaves viewers asking if he will disappear along with the dark secret or will he spread his evil jealousy throughout the village?
Meanwhile, Risteard poses a threat to Géaróid’s trio of Mo, Colm and Tadhg. Will the finale see Risteard cause chaos for them or worse still, serious harm? Géaróid is overcome with jealousy but will he fulfil his threats through Risteard?
Scheming Cora manages to cover up her scam while acting as a romantic couple with Sonny. What will happen to Cam after Cora has revealed the truth about his relations with duplicitous Penny? As the lies begin to unravel, the beautiful Michelle is left heartbroken.
Following Jude’s death, we see Bernie in the grips of her grief and left heartbroken. She begins to create turmoil in the village, lashing out and losing her sense of reason. Bernie will be seen battling those who she trusts most in Ros na Rún.
The estranged couple, John Joe (Donegal’s Niall Mac Earmharcaigh) and Noreen (Donegal’s Máire Uí Rabhartaigh), continue to face money issues. The finale will uncover whether things take a turn for the worst or whether they can survive this challenge.
This season finale will include scandals, pressures and heartbreak. Viewers will learn that lies come back to haunt everyone, no matter how big or small they may seem. The dramatic conclusion will certainly leave viewers on the edge of their seat.
Viewers will be happy to know that the series will return to their screens in Autumn for a milestone 30th season.
Tune in tonight (Thursday) at 8.30pm to see the drama unfold.
