Donegal star Finnbarr Roarty has been named as Young Footballer of the Year.
The 19-year-old had an incredible break-out season and quickly established himself in the Donegal defence.
The Naomh Conaill clubman received rave reviews for his performances as he collected a provincial medal and helped Donegal reach the All-Ireland Final.
Roarty has a big game with his club on Sunday against Scotstown but tonight he fought off competition from Matthew Thompson (Galway) and Oisin Conaty (Armagh) to win Young Footballer of the Year.
Michael Murphy was nominated for Footballer of the Year but lost out to Kerry’s David Clifford.
