Finnbarr Roarty has been named at right half-back in the Ulster Schools GAA All-Star football team for 2023.
Roarty is the first player from St Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties to be honoured with a prestigious All-Star.
The Naomh Conaill defender helped St Columba’s to an Ulster Schools title at underage and captained Donegal to the Ulster minor league earlier this month.

Roarty also played for the Donegal minors last season and is a highly-rated defender. He is the only player from the county selected on the All-Star team.
