A NUMBER of Letterkenny roads will be closed this Sunday for the town’s Christmas lights switch on.
On Sunday, November 23, Main Street, from Rosemount Lane to St Oliver Plunkett Road, Castle Street, and from Church Lane to Market Square and the Market Square itself will be closed between 5.30pm and 8.30pm to facilitate the event.
Alternative routes include Justice Walsh Road to Pearse Road to St Oliver Plunkett Road and the Church Lane.

“Please keep this event in mind if you intend to travel through Letterkenny this coming Sunday and leave extra time for your journey.
“Wrap up warm and we look forward to seeing you all there,” a garda spokesperson said.
