THE Burnfoot to Muff road has been closed following a collision this morning.
Emergency services are at the scene of the crash on the R239 with the road completely blocked.
Gardaí also attended the scene of a crash in Carrigans in the early hours of the morning. Four people were in the vehicle but all escaped without serious injury.

A Garda spokesperson said, “The roads were wet and had a layer of sleet on them. Thankfully the driver and three passengers were not badly hurt.
“Please drive with caution especially when the road surface is wet or icy.”
