Rise in number of patients on trolleys at LUH

THERE are 14 patients waiting on a bed at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning. 

Three patients are in the emergency department, while 11 others are on wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Yesterday, nine patients were on trolleys in the hospital.

Nationally, 502 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 369 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 133 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
