Rise in number of patients on trolleys at LUH

Letterkenny University Hospital.

There are 16 patients currently on trolleys at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Of those 16, 13 are awaiting beds in the emergency department with three on wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Nationally, 449 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

359 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 90 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
