Residents stunned as brothel uncovered

RESIDENTS of Ballymacool Terrace in the heart of Letterkenny yesterday (Thursday) spoke of their shock and disbelief at how busy a brothel was that had been operating over the past few weeks.

A senior garda has called on those who may have used the services of a male prostitute who was HIV positive to seek medical advice.
Sources have also indicated that there could be up to eight brothels in operation throughout the town.
Usually, residents of this terrace are in the public eye for their success in local tidy towns competitions and famed for hanging basket arrangements.
Now, they are angry at behaviour in rented houses where they claim ‘drugs and prostitution and anti-social behaviour’ has become rife.
