GARDAÍ have launched a fresh appeal for information regarding the disappearance of 27-year-old Cian Langelaan, who went missing from Donegal four years ago.
Cian, originally from Falcarragh, was last seen on September 27, 2020, in the Hornhead area of Dunfanaghy.
Though initial reports placed Cian in Letterkenny town centre in the days leading up to his disappearance, new information emerged last year, suggesting that he may have boarded a bus in Dunfanaghy on September 29, 2020, bound for Galway.
However, this lead has yet to yield definitive answers regarding his whereabouts.
On the fourth anniversary of Cian’s disappearance, gardaí have renewed their plea for assistance.
They describe him as being approximately 5 ft 8 inches tall, of medium build, with sandy coloured hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and black boots.
Gardaí are urging anyone with information to come forward, either by contacting Milford Gardaí on 074-9153060 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
The impact of Cian’s disappearance continues to be felt deeply by his family.
On the anniversary of his last sighting, his mother, Anthea Langelaan, posted an emotional tribute to her son on the Find Cian Facebook group.
Reflecting on the passage of time, she wrote:“Four years ago today, 27th September 2020, my son disappeared. You are so loved Cian and always will be.”
