Red wind warning issued for Donegal 

MET Éireann has issued a red wind warning for Donegal due to come into effect this evening.

In a statement, Met Éireann say storm Isha will bring extremely “strong” and “gusty” winds with “severe” and “destructive” gusts.

This weather warning is valid from 9pm this evening and it will remain in place until Monday, January 22 at 1am.

Possible impacts of this weather warning include dangerous coastal conditions with high waves, treacherous travelling conditions and the risk of significant widespread power outages.
