Record a song in Irish and win a massive RnaG competition with Rónán Beo @3

RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta’s Rónán Beo @3 is inviting budding musicians to take part in a Battle of the Bands competition Bruíon na mBuíon as part of the RTÉ and Young People event in April.

The prize for the winning band will be a recording of a three-track EP at Attica Audio in Termon, the studio of Tommy McLaughlin of Villagers fame, and an invitation to perform at Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí’s Cabaret Craiceáilte music night.

The competition is aimed at secondary school pupils throughout the country, and individual musicians or groups are invited to submit a newly composed, contemporary song in Irish to the programme by 29 March to be in with a chance at winning.
