Rear door of Letterkenny business forced open

BURGLARS forced the rear door of a business premises in Letterkenny open during a burglary.

The incident happened on Wednesday, October 29, on the Port Road, between 4am and 4.30am. The premises in question is situated on the same stretch of road as the ATU but on the other side of the road.

Damage was caused to the front door of the premises but it remained closed. The rear door of the premises had been forced open. Entry is believed to have been gained to the premises but nothing was stolen.

A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have travelled along that stretch of road with a dash-cam between 3.30am and 5am on Wednesday, October 29, to make that footage available to us. Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
