RATHMULLAN Celtic are back in the Premier Division after an absence of three years and team manager Eamonn Sheridan wants his men to establish themselves in the top flight once again.
The seasiders were Premier Division champions in the 2013/14 season but their stock fell somewhat after that.
They eventually dropped down to the second tier, but Sheridan led them to promotion via the play-off in his first season at the helm.
Now they are back in the big time, and it isn’t just a case of avoiding relegation, the Flagpole Field men want to put down solid foundations in the top league once again. They begin with a difficult away game against Cappry Rovers on Sunday at 1pm.
“We are pleased to be up there and it’s where we as a club want to be playing our football.”
