MARK your calendars and get ready for a weekend of music, fun, and nostalgia as Oakfest returns to Raphoe on September 7 & 8 for two days of non-stop entertainment across two stages.
Oakfest promises an even bigger and better experience this year, with a diverse lineup that guarantees hit after hit and plenty of tunes to keep the crowd entertained.
“We have an exciting musical line-up, promising the very best in food offerings, bigger bars and more of them, with the all new VIP section and added entertainment for all the family in the most unique setting of Oakfield Park, right in the heart of Donegal,” promises festival director David Fisher.
Kicking off Day 1 on Saturday, September 7 is the legendary Chris Norman, the original voice of Smokie, who will treat audiences to beloved classics like “Oh Carol,” “Mexican Girl,” and “Living Next Door to Alice.” Also on stage will be English glam rock band MUD and D:Ream with their hit “Things Can Only Get Better,” along with many other exciting acts that are household names.
For families, Oakfest offers a range of activities to keep children entertained throughout the day. Convenient shuttle buses provided by McGettigan Travel will run from Letterkenny, with pick-up locations at McCafferty’s Pub and Raphoe town centre, ensuring easy access to and from the festival grounds, a short distance from Raphoe.
