FINN Harps player Ryan Rainey has had to be patient this season but he is now getting a sustained run in the team and is hoping to help the Ballybofey side to more victories.
Rainey spent seven years on the books with Wolverhampton Wanderers before returning home and excelling with Bonagee United in the Ulster Senior League.
Ollie Horgan recruited him in the close season but chances were few and far between as Harps made a great start to the campaign.
It was game number seven at home to St Patrick’s Athletic before Rainey was sent in for his debut.
Nobody likes to sit on the bench, but the versatile player’s fortunes have turned since the mid-season break.
