COUNTING has begun in Letterkenny’s Aura Centre with seven seats in the balance.

Things are quiet this morning, especially compared to yesterday when space was a premium in the count centre.

The first result is expected around lunchtime and watching things closer than most will be the Sinn Fein candidates Gerry McMonagle and Adrian Glackin. Only a handful of votes separate them, according to the tallies. Where their transfers will come from and go remains to be seen.
