Previous meetings ‘irrelevant’ as Donegal face Derry

LUKE Barrett says what has gone before between the Donegal and Derry minor teams is ‘irrelevant’ as the sides prepare to meet in a crunch Ulster Minor Championship semi-final in Killyclogher.

Donegal defeated Derry in the Ulster League Final in Maghera, but the Oak Leaf county gained revenge three weeks later when they won by 3-12 to 0-6 in the Championship group stages.

While those were good contests, there were safety nets attached.
