Prestigious accolade for Muff Liquor founder

THE Donegal based Muff Liquor Company received another accolade this week with its founder Laura Bonner being named Global Irish Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.

The prestigious recognition comes for the Greencastle woman who is CEO of the company she founded back in 2017.

Just weeks ago Muff liquor Company launched its Brand Home in Muff which was attended by a number of the company’s high profile investors which include Ed Sheerin, Russell Crowe, Ronan Keating, Jimmy Carr and Ryan Tubridy.

Exciting times lie ahead for Laura and her company as they prepare to launch into the massive US market.

Speaking after receiving the award she said she was truly honoured to have been named the All Ireland Business Foundation- Global Irish Business Entrepreneur of the Year 2024.

“This recognition means a lot to me and I am grateful for the support of my team and partners.

“Thank you for believing in my vision and helping me achieve this prestigious award,” said Ms Bonner.

The Muff Liquor Company is an award-winning premium spirits company that hails from the eponymous village of Muff, County Donegal on the Inishowen peninsula, Ireland.

The Muff Liquor gin, vodka and whiskey brands are reaching an ever increasing international market with its unique story.

Laura said she was inspired by her grandfather Philip McClenaghan’s passion to create wonderful spirits from potatoes.
