DONEGAL will host the first visit of new President, Catherine Connolly, next week.
President Connolly will spend two days in the county, visiting Killybegs, Lifford, Ardara and Letterkenny with events taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Donegal County Council will welcome the President to the council chambers in Lifford on Tuesday morning with an event planned at 11.30am.
Earlier in the day, she will spend some time in Killybegs where she will open the Atlantic InnoBlue Communities International Creative Jam.
Following the Donegal County Council event in Lifford, she will travel to Letterkenny and will visit the Cara House Family Resource Centre and later the Donegal Travellers Project.
On Wednesday morning, the President will spend some time visiting the Ardara Community Childcare Centre.
