OVER 1,600 ESB customers in Letterkenny are without power. The ESB has confirmed a ‘fault’ at Gortlee has caused the outage this morning.

The fault was reported at 11.35pm today. The ESB predict the power will not be restored until 3.15pm.

Last night there was a power outage in the town for a brief period while a fortnight ago thousands of houses, businesses’ and the local LYIT were without power for over an hour an half due to a fault.
