A POSTMORTEM examination is to be carried out today on the body of a man who was found unresponsive and later died in hospital.
The man, aged in his 50s, was found in an unresponsive state at a residence in Loughanoran, Annagry, on Monday. He died in hospital on Tuesday night.
A garda spokesperson said the findings from the postmortem examination will determine their investigation going forward.
In a statement to the Donegal News yesterday, a spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said: “The services of the State Pathologist has been requested for a post mortem to take place tomorrow, the results of which will dictate the course of the investigation.”
