Popular businessman to be laid to rest on Wednesday

LOCAL businessman Eddie Tinney will be laid to rest on Wednesday following his sudden death.

Mr Tinney died in a farming accident while working at lands at Tullygay on the outskirts of the town yesterday.

He was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital at around 11.25ambut passed away a short time later.

His remains will be reposing at his late residence at Knockbrack from this evening 6pm until 10pm and on Tuesday from 12pm until 10pm with Rosary both evenings at 9pm.Funeral from there on Wednesday at 10am travelling via Port Road and Church Lane going to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Interment afterwards to Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation c/o any family member.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Cecelia, Eddie Tinney will be deeply missed by his loving wife Theresa and family Cecelia Tinney, Johanna Barry and husband John, Patrick and wife Joanne, and Edward and partner Rhona, grandchildren Chloe, Emma, Melissa, Shaun, Edward, Shane, Zara, Kate and Tia, sister Margaret (Port Road), brother Charlie (Ballyraine), brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Also by a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
