Police are appealing for information and witnesses to an incident in Derry city which resulted in two men sustaining injuries.
Police received a report on Saturday, May 13 of an ongoing fight involving a number of people on Rosemount Avenue in the city, which occurred at around 12.45am.
One man sustained an injury to his ear which required hospital treatment, while another man sustained a serious injury to his leg which required surgery.
A Police Service spokesperson said, “We have made a number of enquiries into this incident, and they remain ongoing.
“While this occurred some time ago, we know there were a number of people in the area and we would ask anyone who was in the area at that time and witnessed what occurred or who may have information and hasn’t spoken with police, to contact us.
“We are also appealing to anyone who may have captured footage of what happened to contact police.”
