Polar Plunge in Rathmullan this weekend

GARDAí from Donegal Division are once again preparing to ‘be freezing for a reason’ this weekend.

Members will get chilly in the Swilly at the Polar Plunge on Saturday, February 17 at 2pm, in aid of Special Olympics Ireland.

A garda spokesperson said encouraged as many people as possible to attend the fun family day event.

“We hope that a big crowd will come along to support all those who are taking part.

“A number of other activities will also take place on the day commencing at Midday and it is always a fun day out for all of the family. We encourage as many as possible to wrap up warm and to come along.”
