Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair have reached the final of the FAI Schools Senior ‘B’ Girls National Cup courtesy of a 2-1 win over Glenamaddy CS on Tuesday.

This last four clash took place at Ray McSharry Park in Sligo and Glenamaddy got off to the perfect start, hitting the front after three minutes through Ruby McGuire.
The Donegal side responded immediately however, with Maria Ni Ghallchoir equalising two minutes later.
On the 30 minute mark, the Gaoth Dobhair school took the lead as Maria Ni Ghallachoir netted her second goal of the afternoon.
They managed to keep the Galway outfit at bay for the remainder of the contest to seal their place in the competition’s showpiece.
