Plans lodged for 20 apartments in Oldtown

PLANS have been lodged for the construction of 20 apartments in Oldtown, Letterkenny.

Applicant R.I Scott Construction Limited is seeking planning permission from Donegal County Council for the proposed development.

The proposed plans comprise construction of a three-storey apartment block (A) containing six apartments, and a four-storey apartment block (B) containing 14 apartments, including shared roof terraces.

Proposals also comprise all ancillary site works to include connection to existing public services, proposed new entrance and speed table. Car parking, amenity space, bicycle parking, bin compounds and storm water discharge to existing stream are also included in the proposed plans.

The application is a pre-validate status, according to Donegal County Council’s planning portal.

The closing date for submissions is July 17, 2025.

Donegal County Council will make its decision on August 7, 2025.
