Planned power outage in South West Donegal affects local homes and businesses

Residents and businesses in the southwest of Donegal, particularly in the Killybegs area, are being advised of a planned power outage due to scheduled improvement and maintenance works by ESB Networks.

According to the latest updates from ESB Networks power checks, the outage was reported at 23:49 on August 15, 2024.

The planned disruption is affecting a total of 108 customers in the Killybegs area.

While power is expected to be restored by 11:15 AM on August 16, 2024, some customers may experience service interruptions until 3:30 PM as the work progresses.

The planned maintenance is said to affect 28 homes and businesses.

ESB Networks has apologised for the loss of supply and any inconvenience caused by the planned outage.

Customers affected by the outage can keep updated on the situation by visiting the ESB Networks PowerCheck website.

The site provides real-time information on the status of the outage and expected restoration times.
