A convoy of lorries took off from Donegal Road in Ballybofey on Saturday at 1pm, travelling through the Twin Towns and on to Letterkenny.
They convoy travelled through Termon and onto Creeslough, where participants stopped to lay a wreath at the site of the explosion. The trucks then travelled to the Silver Tassie Hotel, where there was an auction and a dance.

Mr Kilpatrick said the final amount raised was not yet known as donations were still being counted.
“All proceeds will be donated to the families of the victims of the tragedy,” he said.
