The stars of Irish Country Music laid on a wonderful night of entertainment at the annual Hot Country TV Awards Concert in Letterkenny’s Mount Errigal Hotel on Tuesday night.
A crowd of over 800 people enjoyed an evening of glitz, glamour, music and celebration.
The 12th annual Hot Country TV Awards, held in association with Galway Irish Crystal, saw an amazing line-up of top country stars take to the stage, performing some of the songs that have made them famous over the years.
It was a who’s who of wonderful talent and the artists to take to the stage included Nathan Carter, Sandy Kelly, Mike Denver, Derek Ryan, Cliona Hagan, Robert Mizzell, Patrick Feeney, Declan Nerney, Gerry Guthrie, Brandon McPhee from Scotland, Olivia Douglas, Claudia Buckley and Jimmy Buckley.
Fans got a chance to get their photos taken and have autographs signed as the stars mingled with the audience members when the chance allowed.
Former music columnist with the Donegal News, Donal K O’Boyle received a special award for his outstanding contribution to Irish Country Music.
Donal wrote a music column in this paper for many years and his award was collected on his behalf by Donegal News Editor, Diarmaid Doherty.
