Peter Kelly was named in the GAA.ie Hurling Team of the Week for his performance against Tyrone on Saturday.
The St Eunan’s clubman scored two goals in the first half against the Red Hands in O’Donnell Park, while he also added a further point in the second half as Mickey McCann’s side lost out by a point in the Division 2B semi-final.
With a number of players missing and injured, Kelly stepped up to the mark on Saturday and put in a great performance and was named in the Team with some of the best hurlers in the country.
