Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair have claimed their third successive FAI Junior ‘B’ Boys National Cup after they defeated Coláiste an Phiarsaigh in a dramatic penalty shoot-out in Longford today.
Team captain Brian Mac Pháidin opened the scoring for the Donegal side in the 26th minute.

It looked like they would hold on for victory before Evan Peelo scored a spot-kick for the Glanmire school in the fourth minute of second half injury-time.
The sides couldn’t be separated in normal time and it went all the way to penalties.
It proved to be a mammoth shoot-out for the Gaoth Dobhair lads held their nerve.
