Donegal manager Declan Bonner says his team have to be ready if their Ulster Championship quarter-final with Tyrone is decided by a penalty shoot-out.
Sunday’s game has to be finished on the day, and penalties could be called into action if the sides are still level at the end of extra-time.
Donegal have not been involved in a shoot-out yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t come their way this week, and Bonner says they will be practising spot-kicks.
“Penalties are on the radar. There games are coming thick and fast and there’s going to be games that go into overtime so there’s bound to be shoot-outs as part of that. We have to be ready for that.”
