Pedestrian taken to hospital following Raphoe collision

A PEDESTRIAN was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital following a collision in Raphoe.

The road traffic collision happened on the R236 at Magheraboy on Thursday, December 18 at approximately at 11.15pm. The collision involved a pedestrian and a car. The driver and passengers were uninjured.

A garda spokesperson said: “The pedestrian involved was taken by ambulance to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries. If anyone witnessed the collision or if they have dash-cam footage from that area, we ask them to get in touch with Gardaí in Letterkenny on (074) 9167100.”
