Sean Patton came on as a sub for Reading in League One today.
The Drumkeen man was introduced in the 79th minute as Reading won 2-1 against Bradford.
Patton had been on loan with Aldershot in the National League and had been in great form for them.
Aldershot were disappointed to see him depart and released a statement earlier today.
“Sean’s brief time here at Aldershot had a huge impact. Joining in January, Sean made 6 appearances for the Shots, scoring 5 goals, with every single one of those being different to the other!
“Sean’s record here at the club is also an unbeaten one, winning 5 and drawing 1 game during his time here. The club would like to thank Sean for his efforts since being here, and wish him well for what will be a bright and brilliant career ahead of him!”
Reading’s win leaves them in seventh spot in League One.
