The next meeting of the Ballybofey, Stranorlar & District Historical Society will take place in the Henderson Hall (F93 XV29) Stranorlar on Monday, February 23 at 8pm.
This month’s special guest is Ballybofey native, Patsy McGonagle.
Patsy will offer an insight into the people who helped shape his life, his early days in athletics and setting up Finn Valley Athletic Club, and the club’s success over the years.
This promises to be a very interesting talk.
The talk is free and is open to everyone.
Membership of the Historical Society for 2026 is now due. Membership costs €10 for the year and can be paid on the night.
Meanwhile the latest edition of the Historical Magazine will be on sale on Monday night as well as a number of back issues.
