Patrick McBearty has been named in the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week for Round 1 after his super performance against Cork.
The Donegal captain stepped up with a great goal while he kicked six points from frees, but against a stiff breeze, particularly in the second half, it was an impressive feat.
The Kilcar man also finished off a great goal after good work from Caolan McGonagle and Ciaran Moore, with the latter passing off to McBrearty who still had a bit of work to do in order to get the shot away and he made no mistake.
