A PASSENGER was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment following a three-vehicle collision in Stranorlar.
A driver of one of the vehicles left the scene on foot following the collision at Dunwiley, on the N13, on Sunday, February 1, shortly after 1.45pm.
Two vehicles were stationary on the road waiting for the vehicle in front to turn off onto a side road when they were struck from behind by a third vehicle. The driver of the third vehicle left the scene on foot. He was described as being in his 20s and he was tall and slim.
One passenger from one of the vehicles involved was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to any motorists who may have been in the area with a dash-cam between 1.40pm and 2pm to make the footage available to us. If anyone witnessed the collision or if they can assist with any relevant information, they are asked to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.”
