OVER 40 patients are currently on trolleys at Letterkenny University Hospital. 

According to the INMO, 43 patients are on trolleys waiting on a bed at LUH – 14 patients are in the emergency department, while 29 patients are on trolleys elsewhere.

Nationally, 481 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

332 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 149 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
