In recognition of the growing number of participants and the importance of equal access to justice, Defective Blocks Ireland CLG made a decision to accommodate individuals who were previously unable to join the case due to personal circumstances.

To facilitate the inclusion of more homeowners in the legal action, the following arrangements have been agreed upon:

Individuals who wish to join the case on the same terms as existing participant can do so by signing up before the closing date on July 7th. This includes benefiting from the decisions in the lead cases, without any upfront charge for expenses, or the risk of an adverse costs order.

After July 7th interested individuals can join the case by paying an initial €500, which covers High Court Stamp Duty and administration expenses. Participants joining may also be requested to contribute further to any costs that may arise in their specific case.

Homeowners wishing to join the legal action can do so by emailing defectiveblocks@colemanlegal.ie or by calling the Coleman Legal office on 1800 844 104 before Friday July 7th.

Defective Blocks Ireland CLG, is a not-for-profit organisation founded by Buncrana businessmen Adrian Sheridan and Shaun Hegarty.
