UPDATE: Power has been restored.
Over 2,000 customers are currently without power in Letterkenny.
In all 2,102 homes and businesses are impacted by the power outage in the Gorlee area of the town.

The power went out at around 3.45pm. The ESB said earlier today they hoped to have power restored by 4.45pm. However, that notice has been updated and power is likely to be restored by 8.30pm.
