Over 20 patients awaiting beds at LUH

TWENTY four patients are currently waiting on beds at Letterkenny University Hospital.

As of this morning, eight patients are on trolleys in the emergency department while 16 patients are wards elsewhere in the hospital.

Nationally, 549 admitted patients are waiting for beds this morning, according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

424 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 125 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
