Over 1,000 premises are without power in Dungloe this evening. 1,057 ESB customers are affected.
It comes as Storm Isha passes over the country with a status red wind warning due to come into effect from 9pm in Donegal.
Almost 800 are also without power in Gaoth Dobhair and in Kilcar 228 premises are without electricity.
Meanwhile Donegal County Council has advised that the R238 is closed at Cloghglass South of Clonmany due to falling trees. The road closure is in place at North Pole Bar Drumfries on the Buncrana side and at Cloontagh on Clonmany Side. All HGVs should divert Via Carndonagh.
